TAKEAWAYS

Users and simplicity is all you need

User Interviews are instrumental for designing

Speaking with an interior designer allowed me to understand their needs and perspectives. It inspired my design, encouraging me to come up with creative and useful solutions, and it also made it so much easier to keep the user front and center when designing.

Sometimes simple is better

Creating a platform from scratch felt a little overwhelming at first, as we had so many ideas of features we wanted to implement. However, we quickly realized that we had to settle on a realistic and attainable scope to not overburden ourselves.
